Ex'arte is derivative of the Latin expression 'according to the principles of art'. The term was researched and originated as the business name by our creative design director Ian MacGillivray.

Established in 2003, Exarte Productions mission aims to focus on the hybridity of new media and technology. We take for granted that the computer has become the metamedium by which artists can utilize and combine multiple aspects of new media in their work. This synergy is our future and cannot be ignored.

Our vision as a custom media and design syndicate is to work toward a better educated future while consistently staying ahead of new technology and techniques to employ in our works.
